Blessed to Bless Others

The objective of the Boanerges Youth Curriculum is to cultivate bold, Christ-centered leadership among young people by exploring the biblical identity of James and John as the “Sons of Thunder.” Through six dynamic sessions, youth will discover how to embrace their spiritual voice, channel their passion for God’s purposes, and live with courageous faith in a rapidly changing world. Each lesson is designed to help participants connect Scripture to everyday challenges, develop confidence in their God-given identity, and engage their communities as active disciples of Jesus.

 The aim of this curriculum is to empower youth ages 12–25 to grow in spiritual maturity, leadership, and service by learning what it means to be modern-day Boanerges—bold messengers of the gospel. By engaging in reflective devotions, collaborative group work, and practical challenges, young people will be equipped to stand firm in their faith, speak out against injustice, and become influential voices in their schools, churches, and communities. This program seeks not only to teach biblical truths but to ignite a thunderous movement of purpose-driven youth who live for Christ with passion and power.
